Cresencio's Fund

Hello, my name is Ben Mack, and I have had the pleasure of working with Cresencio Del Pino at Diversified for about the last year. Cresencio has been an integral part of the Diversified Upstate New York team, so much so that his teammates have come together to create this initiative in his honor.

Cresencio came to Diversified with an extensive Audio-Visual background and quickly moved into a Project Coordination role. Cresencio’s eager and aspiring nature led to him excelling in his role, but also brought a new sense of culture to the entire Upstate NY team.

It is difficult to describe Cresencio’s character in words because he is the type of person that makes you feel comfortable within 5 minutes of meeting him. He is genuine, honest, caring, hard-working, and driven to learn; there is nothing he cannot do when he has his heart set on it.

You could walk into the office on an off day feeling completely awful, but his contagious laugh and smile would snap you right out of it. You can talk to him about anything, and he always has wise, kind words to offer. There is never a moment when Cresencio is not adding some type of positivity to someone’s day whether it be a smile, a brief chat, a cheesy dad joke, or one of his clever ways to pronounce English words.

In August 2022, Cresencio was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He continued to work for Diversified until early October, when the surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation began. He was so committed to his trade and the teammates he now calls family that his doctor had to formally tell him that work was hindering his recovery. It was determined that if he wanted to get better, he would need to stop working and go on disability. This has not prevented Cresencio from remaining positive, and with the unwavering support of his wife Patti, his children, and the “Goobers,” he will not stop fighting; we will not stop fighting for him.

We are raising funds to help with Cresencio's medical bills so he can focus on getting better and back to what he does best: brightening the lives of those surrounding him.
