CRES Robotics team SIGMABOTS

Cypress Ridge Elemenatry School students Asher, Cadence, Davyn and Joshua formed a 4th grade VEX IQ Robotics team in September of 2021. Their team goal was to make it all the way to the VEX Worlds Robotics Competition in Dallas, Texas. These four boys spent countless hours designing, building and programming their robot, as well as documenting each process in an engineering notebook. Through their hard work they earned their spot to Worlds at the North Central Florida Regional Championship, securing a Teamwork Champion win as well as the coveted Excellence Award. Currently the boys are ranked 2nd of 114 teams in the state of Florida, 18th of 2,788 teams in the U.S. and 52nd of 3,706 teams in the world!
