Cremation&Memorial Service for Chey&Brookes dad

For those who may not know, our father has been sick for the past several years. This past Sunday, we suddenly lost him after a two week long battle with intermittent internal bleeding that led to renal failure. Ultimately, we had to make the tough decision to let him go as he was not a candidate for a transplant which was necessary for his survival. I have arranged for him to be cremated and a private service will be held in a few weeks when his ashes are returned to the funeral home. The cost of this has totaled to roughly $5,000 including the urns for my sister and I. As his oldest daughter and next of kin I am responsible for the costs/arrangements. Since I am a full-time student that works part time, I cannot afford this amount. Unfortunately, my dad did not have a life insurance policy. This leaves it up to me and family to come up with these funds during this devastating time. I have made this gofundme to help relieve some of this financial burden and so we can give our father and loved one a proper "see you soon". The funds raised will be handled by myself and are preferred by the funeral home to have within the next few weeks, however given our situation they have been really kind, allowing us time to raise the money needed.
