My best friend, Tia, unexpectedly and horribly lost her best friend and mother Maureen on February 26th, 2019. Tia got the call at work from her dad telling her it was time to say goodbye. Tia had been concerned about her mother's health for some time, and worried everyday. However could never imagine or expect that this would happen, especially so soon. In the past year, Maureen's mother and father have passed along with Maureen's mother in law. Each death has taken a huge toll on the family emotionally and financially. 

This loss has been tragic and heart breaking to the entire family. The expenses of the cremation alone exceed $2,000. Due to the unexpectedness of this loss, the funeral and cremation are simply out of reach at this time. With the stress and heartbreak of losing her mom, I wanted to find a way to raise money to help the family without putting any pressure on Tia or the rest of her family. The only thing Tia wants to do for her mom is have her cremated and laid to rest.
