Cremation for Joshua Padgett

My name is Jena, I am Joshua’s sister. Most of you know Josh through various stages of life, some good, others may not be. I think all would agree that Josh had a heart of gold and loved helping others and doing for others and was so incredibly gifted in so many ways.

We both suffered the loss of our mom at a very young age. That sent Josh down a road no kid should have to go through. He dealt with it the best way he knew how. He survived things most of us wouldn’t, and never gave up hope. He has two beautiful children, Lillian and Damon whom he completely adored. They were his life. Josh gave his life to Christ several years ago after Cedar Point ministered to him in prison and his story began to change. He now experienced the eternal love of Jesus.

On Saturday morning at 10am I started receiving calls that he was in the hospital. He had an infection and pneumonia and had been on antibiotics for a week. Friday he wasn’t able to urinate and went to the ER. Within hours he was sent to St. Francis South and his bp was so low, his body wouldn’t withstand dialysis due to his kidneys failing. He was placed on full life support early Sat morning. By 4pm he was gone. His organs were too fragile and couldn’t keep going. So God took him home to be with our mom and daddy and my baby girl. He isn’t in anymore pain, both mental or physical, and

he is reunited with the ones he has grieved for all of these years.

All of this happened so suddenly, and his wife and children and I are hoping to get any help available to help pay for his cremation and memorial service. Anything helps.
