hi, I’m sure everyone knows by now about my poorly cat and her three kittens. Otie is recovering well and is on a list to be spayed. Earlier today our runt of the litter, Scout sadly passed away. He had fading kitten syndrome, he was not gaining weight, couldn’t regulate his body temp and was hardly latching onto otie for milk so we had to manually feed him. Before he passed, he was meowing a lot so I tried to give him to Otie for some body heat but it wouldn’t help him. I picked him up and he fell asleep in my hand, so I wrapped him up and lay down with him. He was panting which was strange, I lay him on my chest to get some body heat from me and a little while later he threw up, gasped and stopped breathing. We were trying to resuscitate him for nearly 10 minutes but he was sadly passed. The plan was to bury him, but I can’t think of anything worse than having him alone. So I want to cremate him and have him in a little urn with his name on it so I can display it with a photo of him. He was so special, I don’t want to forget him. Any donations will be towards cremating him. Thank you so much ❤️
