Cremation Costs for Ruth Ann Wilson

Folks, you know how much I hate asking for help, but I'm in a bit of a bind here. As many of you now know, my Mother passed away in her sleep yesterday at age 70. She did not wish to have a funeral service, and wanted her remains to be cremated. It's going to cost about $1600 for the cremation. As my father is retired, and his social security pays our rent, and we are dependent upon my security job to cover utilities and groceries, this unforeseen expense puts us in a rather tight spot. 

Any assistance you all can give would be much appreciated. I loved my Mother very much, and she was always very supportive of my theatre endeavors, coming to most of my performances with my Dad all the way til last December when I performed as Scrooge for the Redlands Symphony.
