Dear friends and family:
On October 14th, 2023 our beloved Sister Elizabeth “Lizz” and her husband went out for date night on their motorcycle. Around 8:30pm a vehicle exited a parking lot cutting them off while already on the road causing them collide with the car resulting in fatal results for both my Lizz and Tommy. He had passed at the scene and she was airlifted to a nearby hospital and passed shortly after from extensive internal injuries. To those who know Lizz, she was an amazing daughter, sister, friend and confidant to many, and stepmother to 3 amazing children of Tommy.
At this point with our mother recently being ill our family is in a devastating situation dealing the loss of an amazing woman and her husband but also faced with the abrupt challenges and financial difficulties of dealing with cremation and planning services when a loved one unexpectedly passed.
We collectively have decided to do a GoFundMe to help buffer the expenses of laying her to rest as it was something nobody in our family was prepared for. Anything helps and we are scrambling to get this sorted so we can start to heal as a family and we know that we did everything we are capable of so she had a proper goodbye. I thank you all so much for the kind words and support we have all received and I know we will move forward with her forever in our hearts.
