Cremation and medical bills for Delores Saltzman

Delores Saltzman passed away this morning at 4:15 AM very peacefully holding my hand.

Delores or Grandma Dee, as she was known throughout Lake George, Michigan, was a powerful force of love and kindness for many people,

Delores also struggled with anxiety and depression but released a few demons with therapy giving her some healing from horrible childhood trauma.

Seeing her smile and laugh through this journey has been so healing.

She had a deep love for all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren & a GREAT-GREAT-grand child!

Delores was instrumental in helping pass Legalization of recreational marijuana in 2018. After her arrest, we made a short movie with a NYC documentarian. That movie was used in a lot of advertisements for that legalization campaign and has been seen all over the world. This documentary is still being used in states where recreational marijuana is not yet legal.

Covid took a huge toll on us and the medical bills have drained our finances. The pending cremation and funeral expenses are going to be a challenge. Any amount you may be able contribute to help with us with the upcoming expenses would be tremendously appreciated.
