Cremation and funeral for Terrell Valco Bond

Donation protected
My Father Terrell Valco Bond recently Passed away in San Diego California on May 23rd, 2024 and I was Informed through a San Diego County Medical Examiner the next day.

after my questions they reassured me there wasn’t any signs of trauma or physical bruises; the person who called 911 after finding my dad was checking on him after not seeing him that day, the previous 2 days my father was sick but refused to take their advice to go get checked out. Thursday May 23 after 911 was called; he was found unresponsive And pronounced dead at the hospital.
I’m also interested in the toxicology report but that could take 4-8 weeks I’ve requested a copy.

I haven’t seen him since 2013, when he was not In Jai or at a rehabilitation center we spoke often And I did my best to be there for him, it saddens me that he could never give me a straight answer on why he chose to stay in San Diego since the 90’s, And even more confusing that when he had no family there he chose to stay living his life in cycle of having a home,  Homelessness, Rehabilitation, and Jail. I use to fear I’d always get “that call” And that day was Friday May 24th 2024, my contact at the San Diego Medical Examiner’s office informed me that we have 30 days to make a decision or the county will take over, cremate his body And scatter his ashes in a place of their desire,( family won’t receive any ashes) which wouldn’t be the end of the world to be honest, but I’m hoping I can take lead and garner support make arrangements to get his body cremated, And hold on then then until I can set up a service in his birth place of Saint Louis Missouri.  Though he was not perfect many people still loved him through the imperfections And wanted tr best for him.

Remembered by  4 children ( In Birth Order) Sherrell, Terrell, Lontrell, And Lakeisha,  5 grandkids, and Majority of his family Located in Missouri , Minnesota And Georgia.

I set the goal for what I googled the average cost of a funeral with cremation costs but might change it based on what the situation calls for.  Thanks for your overwhelming support through these tough times, this is my first time doing something like this so please pray for me And wish me the best in wanting to do something decent for my dad, he deserves that much.

*Service date TBD in his birthplace of Saint Louis Missouri
