This is challenging to write to say the least. This is not something that a mother should have to do. I've always believed that a mother should not have to bury their child, yet I am now preparing to cremate Christine and decide on a final resting place for her. My hope for her is to be cremated as soon as possible and with help from family and loved ones I believe that can happen. This was unexpected and something I was not planning for. As we get closer to the season of giving and as Christmas approaches that last thing I expected to be thinking about was funds to cremate my daughter. I am trying to work through this huge loss as well as deal with the process of having her cremated and sent home to me and her sister and her son where she will finally be at rest close to family. This is the best decision for her considering where her very next of kins are living. As many of you may know I am retired/disabled and on a fixed income, please consider helping us bring her home to be at rest.
