We don’t know how to start this, but here goes.
As many people will be aware, we have many clients and friends in Los Angeles, and we managed to get all the team out for what was to be an incredible trip.
10 days of shooting content, sitting new client meetings, catching up with friends, and experiencing everything that LA has to offer from food to drinks, to the sights and general vibe and energy that is unexplainable.
To end the trip, we went to Sunset Blvd to celebrate with some of our friends and plan out the exciting weeks ahead but mainly to reflect on what was life changing experiences which we simply cannot put into words.
BUT, after finishing our drinks and taking a team selfie as life couldn’t get any better, we returned to our car literally 30 seconds later to look across the car park to see glass all over the floor, as we got closer and closer the reality hit, our vehicle had been smashed into and we had been robbed. As we got to the car, we discovered all our bags had been stolen, which included mainly personal belongings such as MacBooks, Camera Equipment, Hard Drives [Content], Money, Passports, irreplaceable personal items, the list goes on and the total value unbearable to think about.
Luckily, we were physically fine, but the effects mentally won’t be going away easily or anytime soon, having to extend our trip to sort travel docs was stressful enough but to navigate this chaos and to get us back to doing what we do best will take some time, to be honest it is very hard to put into words how this will effect us short term. Thankfully, we are now home in the UK and trying to sort and recover what we can, but this is already proving to be a much longer process that we first thought.
Firstly, if you are trying to get hold of us, if there are unanswered emails or messages, please bare with us all as we are trying our best to get things sorted and we will be in contact asap.
