Creek Fire Nelson-Brooks Family Support

Let me start by saying thank you for visiting this page. My brother Drew, sister-in-law Allyson, and their family who live in the greater Shaver Lake, California area were recently directly impacted by the Creek Fire which has effected many families. They lost her childhood home, her mother Vicky's home and ancillary structures her late father designed and built.

I am starting this fund to help them with any immediate costs, relocation fees, and  any other expenses that will unfortunately come upon them as they try to pick up the pieces of their lives that this fire has upturned.

We are unsure how much is needed at this time. Due to the number of fire refugees in the Sierra Mountains and across California, we can not know if they will be able to find a place to live beyond their temporary lodging or what will be available in the near future. As of now they are hoping to rebuild, but with the absolute devastation that has occurred, no one knows how long this could take.
