Hi all, a lot of you visiting this page will already know Creed in person or over social media. We had Creed re-homed to us when he was 9 months old and he completely stole our hearts from the get go. He’s only 5 years old, full of character, love and mischief. Over the last 10 months, Creed has had 2x BOAS surgeries and we’ve travelled over 560 miles total to make this happen (cheaper than around here). Creed is insured, but in the fine print, not for BOAS so we paid for it out of our own pocket plus with your generous donations. As soon as we thought we were on the home straight, his back end went and is now suffering from IVDD. We are insured for this but only have 4k cover and the surgery is 5.5k. We realise there will be a lot of people out there thinking “if you can’t afford to keep a dog, don’t get one” or wondering why we picked this particular breed, but as I said, he was a rescue and unaware how badly frenchie’s suffer with their breathing and spines. We are pleading for people to spare £5 so Creed can get the help he needs, we would be so unbelievably grateful. The thought of him deteriorating and his life being cut short breaks our hearts as we have another dog, Otis, that physically can’t be without him. We also have a son who is only 19 months and we want Creed to still be around when he’s old enough to interact and remember him. Thank you for reading ❤️
