My name is Sterling Carroll, founder of Spill Your Creativity™ in Lockport, NY.

What started as a small creative storefront has grown into something much bigger it was/is a cultural hub for artists, youth, entrepreneurs, and anyone who needs space to create, reflect, and be seen.

Recently, our storefront windows were vandalized and our signage was scraped off. But what they tried to remove wasn’t just vinyl or glass it was a symbol of creative freedom and community ownership.

At the same time, we are transitioning into a new chapter and relocating into a stronger, more intentional space — The SYC Culture Lab / This Is SYC — a creative headquarters designed to serve Lockport and Western New York on a larger scale.

This fundraiser will now support:

• Insurance deductibles and window repairs

• New exterior signage for the new location

• Security cameras and motion sensor lighting

• Safety upgrades to protect youth programs and community events

• Reinstallation costs during the move

This isn’t just about fixing damage.

It’s about building protection around something that matters.

Spill Your Creativity has hosted workshops, youth programming, vinyl nights, self-care events, and safe conversations through initiatives like Hey Bro, Can We Talk and Spring Awakening. We are more than retail. We are creative infrastructure.
