Hello Friends!

Well... here I am again on Go Fund Me.

With the pandemic shutdowns and my lack of sufficient income in 2020, and then again in 2022, I made it through thanks to your generosity. Thank you kindly.

This fall, I dealt with, among other things, car repairs, dental expenses, eyeglasses expenses, and the SNAP/EBT issues everyone's facing. I'm still tutoring (English, ESL, writing and reading) at Portland Community College, but the work hours are increasingly limited, so I'm working extra hours whenever I can at schools as a substitute paraeducator.

Through all this, I'm proud to announce that I completed my debut poetry chapbook, Other Dances, published by Handtype Press in March 2025. I'm also honored that one of my poems is in the beautiful Oregon Poetry Calendar! Plus, I'm still writing my first full-length volume of poetry.
