Friends of Montpelier Children's House - help us create a respite space for teachers who are the cornerstone of the MCH community we love and rely on every day. 

Currently, MCH teachers have very little space to take a break, eat lunch, and find respite for wellness, planning, or comfort during their day. The small office space has become the space where teachers eat, plan, and retreat for a moment without kids. 

 

A section of the basement (seen above) has been identified for transformation into a welcoming and comfortable space for teachers to find a kid-free moment throughout the workday. The vision for the space includes space for yoga and wellness activities, table space for planning and training, and comfortable seating for teachers to access throughout the day.

 

A group has come together to raise funds and help with design, project management, demo, and building. Funds raised through this campaign will support the purchase of building supplies and room furnishings and offset the cost of electrical and plumbing that will be necessary.

 

Please help us make this space a reality for the wonderful teachers at Montpelier Children's House. Any surplus will be put towards playground improvement projects.
