After 12 years of marriage, my life changed almost overnight. I am facing an unexpected divorce and, with very little notice, I have had to start over from scratch. I have been fortunate to find a small apartment, but I am struggling to come up with the money I need to move in and begin rebuilding my life.

Between apartment deposits, moving costs, and basic necessities, the financial burden has become more than I can manage alone in such a short amount of time. This has been one of the most painful and uncertain seasons of my life. I am not only leaving behind a relationship that lasted more than a decade, but also the stability and security I believed I had.

Right now, I am simply trying to create a safe place to call home for myself and my two cats, who have been my comfort through so many difficult days. Donations will help me cover the costs of moving into my apartment, handling the immediate expenses that come with starting over, and taking the first steps toward stability.
