Creating a Future for Anne Halverson’s Children

Our brave, smart, beautiful, and loving daughter, sister, and mother, Anne Linnea Halverson, born January 6, 1984, left this world unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2020. 

Anne is survived by her three children, Aidan Lattin (16), Jack Halverson (7), and Linnea Smith (2 1/2), her mother, Carol Just, her father, Ron Halverson and his wife, Susan Reichel, sister and brother-in-law Kate & Ralf Schirg, and niece, Helene Schirg.

Anne had a contagious laugh and a fun sense of humor. She was an extremely sensitive person who often felt others’ pain as deeply as her own. Anne was very intelligent and loved to read. She was curious and clever and loved to solve problems at work and for her friends. Anne loved her children more than anything else and did her best to provide for them as a single parent. 

This fund will help build a foundation for Aidan, Jack and Linnea. Our first goal is $150,000. This will be $50,000 per child that will be put in to a trust to help pay for the children’s education. If we meet the goal of $300,000, each child will have $100,000 towards their education and setting them up for success later in life. 

Their mother Anne always found ways to provide for their education, health and wellbeing, and we want to make sure we can continue to do that, in addition to loving them like she would want. Their aunt and Anne’s sister, Kate Schirg, will manage the funds.
