Hello, my name is Ilonka Garcia also known as Tia Ilonka. I am the owner of Karibbean Kuisine in Los Angeles, California.

I started this campaign because it was brought to my attention that my sublease from El Bronco Taqueria was invalid. I was forced to stop operating out of my current location immediately. I'm now looking for my own location, where I can extend my service hours to serve more people and continue providing the food my customers love. I want to create a space where everyone can feel like they are at home. My vision is to create a space where Dominicans can meet other Dominicans, enjoy authentic Dominican food, and have a place to sell Dominican products. I want every person to feel like they just stepped into their tia's home. A place where everyone comes together as a community full of love and support. I want to create a place that introduces the Dominican community to Los Angeles. I want the people of Los Angeles to have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Dominican Cuisine while they experience what the Dominican community is all about.
