Create history with Alopecian Beauty Co

Dear Community,

My name is Monee Sanders, I am Founder and President of Alopecian Beauty Co 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. My organization serves a great need for men and women across the world. Honestly, my personal journey has been like a hay ride! I’ve had this burning passion for philanthropy, medical and the beauty industry since I was 8 years old. By the age of 13 I started hand crafting custom wigs in the south side of Chicago. For years I had in my journal as a kid that I will move to Atlanta, start businesses and change lives through hair styling. I did just that. I attended my last year of high-school in Atlanta and graduated early with a 4.0 gpa full offer to Georgia State. I softly declined and attended Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school and maintained a full clientele, all nationalities just at 18 years old. I fell in love with healthy hair care and growing ladies hair back through my products and services! I seen so many behind the scene tears of what Alopecia does to people mentally and emotionally, even to the point of hiding it from their husbands. This crucial disease even runs in my family hereditary, my mother and grandmother both suffer and were diagnosed with two different conditions. Very saddened with the lack of support for a condition like this I felt it was a desperate need for an organization to protect and comfort the hair loss community. This community needed help spreading awareness, higher education, treatments, beauty alternatives, mental support and better research.

By 19 years old I became the first woman ever in history to become CEO of a nonprofit corporation regarding autoimmune diseases and connecting professionals. This cause and project is very important because over 137 million individuals in the world suffer from Alopecia plus the numbers are growing over ten million in the U.S by year 2023. Bernie Marcus wrote an article where he stated to invest in upcoming innovative medical ideas and that it was dear to his heart. I found that article when I was just about to give up, it motivated me so much I said I will personally write him to tell him how inspiring he was to many who have dreams!

Sunday September 25, we’re celebrating our 5th anniversary and will sponsor a special gala for Alopecia Awareness Month, we’re expecting 200 attendees for this exclusive event and need the support of our alopecians, legislators, leaders and community.

Our main focus at this ceremony is to increase awareness and fundraise 1M to build a innovative Medical Center for autoimmune disease sufferers of Alopecia, Cancer and Lupus. We plan to change over 3,000 lives including babies. Contributions will not only benefit our project but will support our medical research, literacy programs, mental health classes and community fundraisers.

Your contribution would be a huge help to lowering the rates of hair loss and stress among patients. Remember, a donation a day, keeps hair loss away! Through this program individuals will benefit healthy hair growth methods, knowledgeable education from professionals, mental support and literacy activities.

Gracious Thank You!

Warm Regards,
Monee.
