About Me and My Students:

Hello! My name is Ms. Silva, and I am a passionate 5th-grade teacher at a Title I school. Every day, I have the privilege of working with a group of incredibly loving, dedicated, and driven students who inspire me in so many ways. These students are not only eager to learn, but they also show compassion and resilience in everything they do. They face challenges both inside and outside the classroom, yet they show up each day with a determination to succeed. It’s this spirit and dedication that makes them truly special.

As an educator, I strive to provide a supportive and engaging environment where each student can thrive, both academically and personally. My goal is to equip them with the tools and confidence they need to excel, while fostering a sense of community and belonging. My students have worked so hard to reach this point, and I believe they deserve to celebrate their success in a way that reflects all their effort and achievements.

Why I'm Fundraising:

As a Title I school, many challenges are presented, including limited resources and opportunities. These challenges make it even more important to provide them with memorable experiences that celebrate their hard work and dedication. One of those milestones is graduation—an event that marks the culmination of years of effort, growth, and learning.

To make this milestone truly special, I would love to give my students the opportunity to have a beautiful and unforgettable graduation and senior week experience. This includes a celebratory luncheon, a dance with a DJ, custom t-shirts, yearbooks, and many other meaningful touches. But the celebration doesn't stop there! I also want to take them on a big senior trip—a two-day sleepaway trip that will give them the chance to bond, explore, and create lasting memories together.

However, in order to make all of this happen, we need your help. While I believe every student deserves to have a memorable and joyful graduation experience, the reality is that our school’s resources simply aren’t enough to cover the costs of such an event. That’s why I’m reaching out to the community for support. Every contribution—whether large or small—will go directly toward making these dreams a reality for my students.
