Help create the UKs premier canine swim centre

My name is Susie, and I’ve been running Beachin Dog Therapy for many years. As most of you know after 35yrs trading Beachin is having to close, due to circumstances beyond my control.

I have found an alternative venue, but set up costs for installing a pool of this size are massive. There are many smaller pools around, but Beachins USP is its size (being the biggest in the NW) and I want to go bigger so we can continue to offer rehab, fun and fitness, but also the popular American sport of dock-diving (it would be the first permanent indoor venue of its kind in the UK).

I’ve had offers from investors, but with that comes financial pressures and, whilst I understand businesses need to make money, I don’t believe financials should be a driving force for this vocation. My primary motivation is to provide an affordable service for people who clearly adore their dogs, and a place where you can all continue to make happy memories.
TeamBeachin have cherished every dog that has dipped a paw, we’ve shared many laughs……….and oh, so many tears!

This idea was born many years ago when I used to dock-dive with my Flea, he’s my inspiration, but it’ll be dedicated to every dog that’s ever loved Beachin.

The above ground pool is being imported from America, and that alone is £15,000 (including duty/vat). The air-management, filtration and heating are triple that, and that’s before we’ve started on the dock, suspended ceilings, stud walls, shower installation, labour costs and equipment. It’s a daunting debt to take on.
If you can afford to donate something (anything) to help bring this to life it would be gratefully received, and if you can’t afford to donate please just share with your friends. Every effort is truly appreciated.

Every donor will get their dogs photo on our wall of fame and an invite to our pre-completion open day. Anyone who generously donates over £100 will get a free one-dog 30min swim. And for the biggest single donation, your dog will get the opportunity to be the first to jump from the dock (I won’t even let my boys try it first!).
