Create Lala's Corner in memory of Deb

In memoriam of Deb, donations will help us create a magical, sensory play area in Capon Bridge Elementary’s "Middle Mountain" playground as part of their Wild & Wonderful Schoolyard project. Parents, teachers, and community members have been transforming the school campus into inspiring, nature-based spaces that support learning and health for both the kids at the school and everyone in the community after school hours.

Deb loved playing with her grandchildren and their friends, who called her Lala, in the pool, sandbox and garden. She was always dreaming up creative ideas to make spaces more inviting and fun for the littles in her life. During Covid, she poured her heart into developing the kids' playhouse and fairy garden at The River House, which became a nurturing respite for families during that time.

She would have loved to be involved with the Wild & Wonderful Schoolyard if circumstances had allowed. Developing a cozy, little "Lala's Corner" in the playground, where kids can tinker, imagine, and learn, will reflect Deb's playful nature and will become a beautiful, lasting way to remember her.
