Create hospitality with Rammingers

Donation protected
Over the past two years the Rammingers have been able to live and minister in a house on the south side of the University. They have been able to help turn around a statistic that says that over 75% of international students never see an American home on the inside while studying in the US. They have also been able to provide a safe place of growth for fellow missionaries that work in the downtown area of Madison, WI.

This house has turned out to be the perfect place for their ministry and  family. The six bedrooms on three levels provide enough space for the family as well as three renters that live with them to create intentional missional community (myself included). The common areas are large enough to host events for international students. The large yard and close proximity to a pool and playground has been such a blessing for the kids.

Up until this point the Rammingers have been renting this location from friends but the current owners situation requires them to sell the house this summer. This means that the Rammingers have to find a way to buy the house or move on (they don't know where to). They would love to stay here and have been given a few weeks to see if they can work out a way to make this possible. Please pray with them and for them for a solution to be able to do this.

If you feel led please help us reach the goal for a down payment to buy this house. Below are a few testimonies from people who have lived in the house and benefited from this home and the ministry the Rammingers are providing.

"I moved into the Ramminger's house during a very hard season in my life. This year marks the anniversary of the death of my dad and my mom's battle with cancer. Making this move had me somewhat afraid as I did not know what to expect and now I can see that this was the best choice for me. The Ramminger household has brought me hope through showing patience and acceptance for my process in this hard season. This house has been a refuge and safe haven for me which has helped me find breakthrough and healing in many areas of my life. What a blessing it is to find a place with a commitment to do relationships right and an atmosphere where I don't feel judged but supported to grow."  - Melree, a fellow missionary

"It really is the perfect house for its location, hosting capabilities, etc, I loved living there and the ability to bring people over...You all are a truly remarkable and missional family and invest in people and God’s work SO well, as a lifestyle and every day. I’ve learned a lot from you...I remember I was so thankful I got to host a party for a friend from out of town who was in a really hard place here and invite all her friends to celebrate her and there was enough space for us and everything and she felt SO loved and encouraged by her friends and by God." -Megan, a fellow missionary

I, myself have also greatly benefited from this home and the Ramminger family. I have lived here with the family since the beginning and I truly do feel like I was adopted in as one of their own. When I first moved in two years ago I will admit that I was scared. It was making a change and it also meant moving into a house with people I didn't know very well at the time. This was frightening to me because I knew that the nature of this family was one of intentionality. I was very used to being independent and getting by on my own but I also knew that if I wanted to grow as a person and in my relationship with God, I couldn't stay that way. This family has been nothing but supportive and understanding. They have grace for me when I'm going through rough times as well as celebrating the victories with me as I overcome. The call of hospitality and support that is on this family is thriving in this specific location. Please stand with us as we fight to be able to continue creating hospitality for international students, support for fellow missionaries as well as a thriving community for personal growth.
