Hello, I’m Jeff! I’m a dancer, DJ, and community builder inspired by the ways that community can lift us all up to lead fuller, more vibrant lives. I’m training to be a professional, certified coach with The Academy For Coaching Excellence (ACE) so that I can bring skills and tools to communities that would love to care for and serve their members more consistently. I plan to start with the dance communities that are near and dear to me and then work with other intentional communities that share my vision of advancing a more compassionate world.
Dance saved my life. It’s provided a supportive community for me that’s shepherded me back into the world after having cancer. I want everyone to experience support and connection like that, and I know we have more work to do to make that possible.
I’m dedicated to having an accessible practice.
*I will provide free and sliding-scale services, trainings, and seminars from the very beginning.
*When I complete my training as a certified coach, I will use my experience to foster and grow communities that welcome everyone regardless of ability, gender, sexual orientation, physical appearance, race, age, religion, or any other characteristic or trait.

Become a certified, professional coach
I will complete the rigorous coach training program with The Academy For Coaching Excellence (ACE) , an accredited program of the International Coaching Federation, the gold standard in coaching. It includes over 120 hours of intensive, in-person instruction, direct mentorship, and community support.
I will be trained in a model that captures my heart -- socially conscious, compassionate, and based in a powerful, pragmatic skillset.
I’ll be trained in tools developed for over 30 years, and in use by a community of thousands of organizers, activists, change-makers, and business leaders.
Work directly with community and event organizers to create thriving, resilient communities in dance and beyond.
Many intentional communities share common struggles: burnout of leaders and organizers, difficulties in creating a clear vision and putting it into action, and ensuring that members feel heard and supported consistently. As community builders, we can feel like we’re doing it all alone, disconnected from the community that means so much to us, or like we’re just working too damn hard.
ACE trains in skills that help to foster thriving and resilient groups.Through training with ACE, I will be able to :
Create programs that support community dialogue through instruction on specific kinds of relational skills that help groups to request and seek support with creativity and curiosity.
Aid in reducing organizer stress and burnout through coaching on resilience: how to maintain a clear vision and focused energy, even under difficult circumstances.
Support groups to craft courageous visions for their communities so that they can consistently show up to do what they love with clarity.
