Create a Sensory Room in Memory of Ms. Teri Pabst
Donation protected
The Thoreau Elementary School family recently lost an extraordinary educator, Teri Pabst, lovingly known to her students as "Ms. Teri." Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her students made her a cherished figure in the lives of everyone she touched. As a special education teacher, she was not just an educator—she was a mentor, a source of comfort, and a steady presence for many children in Madison, WI. Her impact was profound, helping students thrive, express themselves, and feel truly valued every day.
Teri had already started planning and designing a sensory room for her students, a calming, adaptive space that would provide a safe and supportive environment to meet their unique needs. This fundraising effort will help bring that vision to life, providing the necessary tools, resources, and enhancements to complete the room and support the ongoing success of Thoreau Elementary’s Special Education Program. The space will reflect Teri’s dedication to inclusion, compassion, and the well-being of every student.
We invite you to join us in honoring Ms. Teri's memory by contributing to this important cause. Your donation will help provide a brighter, more inclusive future for the students Teri cared so deeply for. Together, we can continue her mission of making a difference, one child at a time.
