Hello everyone,

My name is Abi and I’m reaching out with a dream that’s very close to my heart — to create a safe, sensory-friendly space for children with ADHD, autism, and other additional needs.

This project is deeply personal to me. As a parent of a child with ADHD, I’ve experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to find suitable activities, calm spaces, and inclusive environments where our children can truly be themselves. That’s why this dream means so much to me — I want to build the place I wish had existed for my own child.

After months of studying and completing my Professional Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy and Expert Course in ADHD and Autism, I feel more inspired than ever to put my knowledge and passion into action.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve already found the perfect building in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote — a beautiful space ready to be transformed into a calm, inclusive environment where children can thrive and families can feel truly supported. Sadly, there isn’t currently a place like this in Playa Blanca, and I want to change that.

The centre will include:

A sensory room — filled with lights, textures, and soothing sounds to help children relax and regulate.

A Montessori-inspired area — for babies and toddlers to learn through gentle, hands-on play.

An activity and games room — designed for SEN children to explore, play, and have fun safely.

☕ A cozy café area — where parents can take a moment to breathe, connect, and enjoy a coffee while their children play in a secure environment.

This space will be more than just a play area — it will be a community hub, built on understanding, inclusion, and kindness.

Now that I have the right location, I’m raising funds to bring this dream to life — to buy sensory equipment, Montessori materials, toys, furniture, and resources, and to set up the café area and create an inviting, inclusive environment for all.

Every donation — big or small — will help turn this vision into reality for so many families who need a place like this.
