Inspiring the Next Generation of Music Makers
My name is Cody Jacobson. I’m a math teacher by day and a musician at heart. Over the years, I’ve learned that the same creativity and problem-solving that make great mathematicians also make great musicians. That’s why I started a music production club at my school — a space where students can explore sound, rhythm, and self-expression in a completely new way.
These students aren't just curious — they’re passionate. They come in during lunch breaks and after school, full of ideas, beats in their heads, and dreams of creating something real. But we’re missing the tools to bring those dreams to life.
That’s where you come in.
I’m raising funds to build a music production lab for these aspiring artists. The lab will include computers, MIDI keyboards, headphones, audio interfaces, studio monitors, and professional-grade music software. With this equipment, my students will be able to learn the craft of music production — from composing and mixing to mastering tracks — all within a safe, creative, and educational environment.
Many of these kids have never had access to real instruments or recording tools. For them, this isn’t just a club — it’s a doorway into a world where their voices matter, where their ideas can be heard, and where they can create something that’s entirely their own.
Your support isn’t just helping buy gear. It’s helping foster the arts, encourage creativity, and invest in young minds that are ready to build, express, and grow.
Thank you for believing in the power of music — and in the students who are learning to speak through it.
