Sean and Tori are building something special.
In 2026 we are opening 214 Station Studios, a purpose-built music hub in Addlestone designed for:
- Bands who need proper rehearsal space
- Young musicians learning their craft
- Artists who want to record, create and grow
This is a hybrid educational / commercial venture that we want to bring to the community of Addlestone providing a 'high end' feel at accessible prices and including workshops and real life opportunities for funded support for emerging artists and new musicians.
We aim to upgrade how musicians can prepare and rehearse, bringing innovative audio and visual recording options in all spaces to future proof and help creatives earn while they learn.
This isn’t just a dream, it’s already happening.
We’ve secured a unique family property (with deep roots in the local community, dating back to Tori’s grandfather’s engineering business in the 1960s), and construction (which is already funded) is set to begin soon, so we can open in September.
What do we need your help with? £60K is already in place to fund the build and now we’re now raising money to complete the project and need to cover:
- Professional rehearsal backline (amps, drums, PA)
- Recording studio equipment
- Teaching room setups
- Furniture and client areas
- Final finishing touches to open our doors
Every donation directly helps turn empty rooms into fully equipped creative spaces.
What 214 Station Studios will offer
- 2 fully soundproofed band rehearsal rooms
- 1 large live room + recording studio
- Vocal / voiceover booth
- 3 teaching rooms (including drum space)
- Solo drum practice room
- Equipment storage for local musicians
All designed and built by industry professionals, with:
- Proper acoustic isolation
- Air conditioning / ventilation
- Audio + video recording capability
- Online booking (6 days a week, 10am–10pm)
This matters to us and should matter to you because music spaces like this are disappearing. Costs are rising, access is shrinking, and music education is being cut.
We want to change that by creating a space that is affordable, high quality and community driven. 214 Station Studios will be a place where young musicians get their start, bands rehearse properly (not in garages), and creativity is taken seriously.
We know we can access government funding to create beneficial workshops (live and recorded sound production, solo and band performance techniques, music business tips, music theory for non-readers - tab to score etc) and opportunities for reduced cost rehearsal for new musicians to really give them a chance to learn their craft, hone their skills and bring something new to the creative scene.
Between us, we bring:
- 20+ years as performers
- 10+ years teaching music and production (up to degree level)
- Real-world experience building and running studios
- Grant application experience
This is everything we’ve worked toward.
On a personal note, like many people in the music industry, we were hit hard by COVID and have faced unexpected challenges in recent years. Despite that, we’ve kept pushing forward and now have a real opportunity to build something lasting.
We’re all-in on this project, this is your chance to be part of it.
Whether it’s £5 or £500, your support helps us open the doors.
And when we do, you’ll know you helped us build it.
