Create a memorial and help with funeral costs.

Hi my name is Gabby and I am the wife of Suzie Stevens. I am raising funds to help with funeral costs and create a memorial at the school she was headteacher at.

In March 2022, Suzie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced treatment bravely and continued to work throughout her treatment. She showed a huge amount of commitment to the trust, children and community.

Unfortunately, earlier this year Suzie had a seizure. Her cancer has spread to her brain. As a family we are devastated and even more so to learn she has weeks to short months to live. Due to this diagnosis, time is not on our side. We had planned a whole future ahead of us.

She leaves behind a family of her wife and 3 children ( 3, 15 and 22). She also leaves behind a school she called her baby!

She is an incredible human who always puts others before herself. She loves her mother and father who also lost her sister to this awful disease.

Suzie would love to have an area where the children of her school could sit and reflect and have her legacy subtly continued in the school she built from scratch.
