It's hard to believe it's been almost three years since we lost Colton Kenneth Rice. On April 10, 2022, a tragic accident took him from us far too soon, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Colton, just 18 years old, was a bright light in this world, known for his infectious laugh, his radiant smile, and his deep passion for the outdoors. From mudding and fishing to hunting and spending time with friends, Colton embraced life with enthusiasm and loved the outdoors.

To honor Colton's memory and create a lasting tribute to his life, we are hoping to raise $3,000 to place a commemorative bench in the McDonald Research Forest. This peaceful spot will offer a place for all who knew and loved Colton to visit, reflect, and remember the joy he brought to our lives. It will be a place where we can connect with nature, just as Colton loved to do, and keep his spirit alive in our hearts.
