50,000 Asian elephants are left, where a third are working / domesticated elephants.

In some parts of Asia, training techniques have not changed much since the time of Hannibal crossing the Alps despite modern animal behavioural science having developed. Our work is built on respect — respect for elephants, respect for mahouts, and respect for the cultural traditions that have shaped elephant care for generations.

Using behavioural science and evidence based methods, we teach mahouts how to humanely and ethically interact with their elephants. This creates a kinder world for elephants.

Want to join us in making a difference? August is Asian elephant awareness month and this is your opportunity.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
