Help Create a Cozy & Collaborative Space for 2nd Graders at Kelly Park!

Hi everyone!

My name is Angela Adams, and I’m so excited to be joining the 2nd grade team this year at Kelly Park School in beautiful Apopka, Florida! After several years teaching upper elementary, I’m thrilled to make the move to 2nd grade. I am wanting to create a classroom where curiosity, kindness, and imagination flourish every day.

As I prepare my classroom for this big transition, one of my top priorities is creating a welcoming and collaborative learning environment. One of the best ways to do that? A large, comfortable classroom rug where students can gather for read-alouds, morning meetings, whole group and small group lessons, and shared learning experiences.

Unfortunately, classroom rugs can be quite expensive... and that’s where I could use a little help. With your support, I hope to purchase a rug that will serve as the heart of our classroom: a place where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn together.
