Coco Loft (It means Heart Loft in Japanese ココロフト)
Coco Loft is a small dream I’ve carried for years. It's a place where creativity, community, and gentle support come together. I want to build a space where children can come to after school and can learn, make art, work together, share stories, and feel seen. A place where both kids and adults can slow down, breathe, and create something with their hands instead of feeling rushed or judged.
My goal is to open a tiny studio with a community cafe that feels cozy, safe, and welcoming. The kind of place I wish I had when I was younger. A place where kids can build confidence through their creativity, and adults can reconnect with something peaceful and grounding. I want Coco Loft to feel like stepping into a warm little pocket of calm.
I’ve been supporting this dream on my own by selling embroidery portraits, handmade items, and anything I can create with my two hands. But these days it feels really hard to be seen.
I’m also planning to teach embroidery classes for both kids and adults, focusing on beginner-friendly projects, gentle instruction, and a lot of encouragement. I have started that online, on Skool. My classes are here
But to bring Coco Loft to life, I need help raising the initial startup funds. My goal is $35,000 to cover the first year of rent, materials, licensing, and basic equipment. Every little bit helps and genuinely brings this dream closer.
If you choose to support this project, you’re not just helping me; you’re helping create a place that encourages kindness, creativity, and confidence for people who need it. Thank you for reading, for sharing, or for supporting in any way you can. It means more than you know.
