Create a Gallista Gallery Reunion Catalog

Dock Space Gallery is hosting a Gallista Gallery Reunion show in November 2023 and we'd like to have a catalog of the show printed and distributed. Joe Lopez is a painter and gallery owner and his gallery at 1913 S. Flores was one of the first to focus on showing Chicano/Mexican American art. Gallista Gallery was the launching pad for many artists' careers and began a trend in Texas of showcasing the unique styles and culture of Mexican Americans. We've invited a dozen of these artists to come back to the Lone Star Art District and show their work at 107 Lone Star Blvd, San Antonio, TX for November with an opening reception on November 11th, 2023 as part of the Second Saturday Artwalk. If fully funded we would be happy to mail a copy of the catalog to those contributors who cannot attend the opening. As Joe says, "I am proud of continuing to promote our Mexican American/Chicano culture...Puro Gallo Y Que Viva La Raza!"
