Peace, y'all, it's Michael Penn II a.k.a. CRASHprez, and I come to y'all with news...
I'm finna do my first U.S. (and Canada!) run supporting Manwolves for three weeks this April! I've wanted to do something like this for my entire career, so I'm blessed and honored to finally be in the position to come pull up on the people.
That said, the Freelancer/Independent Artist pipeline has been laying hands upon me for a cool minute... I'm not signed or managed, and I don't have tour support to tap into. Not to mention, the global conditions are wilder than ever, meaning touring expenses are wilder than ever.
I truly don't got it right now, but I gotta make a way outta no way.
I'm asking the people for $5k in tour support so I can get all the materials I need to try to do this as safely and efficiently as possible. I'll be using any donations for the following:
- Covering rent + bills while I'm gone (I can't sublease my space)
- PPE (N95 masks, rapid tests + nasal sprays)
- Lodging expenses
- Making new merch
- Tour essentials (most notably luggage)
- Leftover will be kept for any emergencies + sudden expenses (cancellations, illness, theft, damage, etc.)
Anything you can put on the collection plate will help me see this through. I'm deeply humbled by you even taking the time to read this. I hope to see some of y'all out there in April. Thank you.
