Imagine being alone, scared, and confused. The world is loud, cold, and unfamiliar. This is life for so many shelter dogs—until they stepped into the Rescue Lounge bus.

Inside, they found soft couches instead of cold cement floors. Gentle hands instead of steel bars. A TV playing soothing sounds instead of the echo of barking. For many, it was the first time they felt safe. It was the first time they felt loved.

But now, the Rescue Lounge is gone.

A DEVASTATING LOSS

A few weeks ago, our beloved dog bus crashed into a tree and a boulder pit. Miraculously, no dogs or humans were injured, but the bus was completely totaled. Insurance isn’t covering enough for us to replace it, and now… the dogs have nowhere to go.

Shelter life is hard. Dogs wait weeks, months—even years—for a home. The Lounge was their lifeline, helping them relax, show their true personalities, and find their families faster. In fact, every single dog who spent time in the Lounge has successfully transitioned into a home.

Without it, they’re stuck. Alone again. Waiting.
