Craig Thomas is a hardworking man who lives and breathes for his family. For people that know Craig he will go the extra mile for his friends and family in particular.  In December of 2018, he discovered that he had an infection on his testicle. After a course of anti-biotics the infection persisted, so after another visit to the Doctor it was decided to send him to the hospital for scans. The ultrasound scans showed an unusual nodule and further testing was required in terms of CT scans and blood tests. To our horror it was relieved that Craig had stage 3 testicular cancer. He was then scheduled for an emergency operation where his testicle was removed, further to this it was also discovered that the cancer has spread to his stomach and lungs.

Additionally he was informed that his recovery will take 4 – 6 months as chemotherapy is required, this of course has had an adverse effect on his recently acquired career, and understandably so, the company will not afford his a salary during his recovery period as he has only been there for 6 weeks.

The dilemma facing Craig is that the bills (rent, school fees, sustenance, medication and treatment… etc. etc.).

Our aim is to assist Craig and family to get through the next 6 months, this is VITAL to the family’s survival as his wife Nicole being an educator and the only income for the family over the next 6 months.
