Craig's Next Journey on the road to healing & recovery :)

Hello Beautiful Beings, If your reading this then its likely you know Craig, Ashdon & myself. To our precioius family & friends which includes a wider circle of you that have touched our lifes in some way and that we are very grateful for.

Some of you know and some are not yet aware that Craig has been suffering this last 17 months with his health. The time has come for us to reach out.

In July 2023, he had a swollen left arm so went to hospital. They X rayed him and found a large mass about the size of a grapefruit in the centre of his chest cavity. A germ cell tumour usually found in the reproductive system, so a rare case.

They sent him from Wexham hospital over to Reading to start 4 cycles of emergencey chemotherapy.

Even though it was tough, the tumour responsed and shrunk. By Dec 23 his bloods showed normal.

However, May 2024, the tumour began growing again and unfortunatly it had spread to two spots in the Liver. These legions took off and grew very fast. Craig was transfered to Oxford for further chemotherapy. Another 4 challenging cycles.

By November 24, Craigs full body scan showed the Liver was clear and chest reduced in size however we now know that the last chemo, was only keeping things at bay.

Just 4 weeks later, Craig started suffering again with pressure on his stomach where the Liver was a considerable size once again not allowing him to eat much. He had a blockage which lead to a stomach infection this Christmas making things extremley painful for him to manage.

He has lost a stone and a half in 2 weeks and experienced the most pain and disappointment yet.

These last few weeks he has been In and out of hospitals in Wales, Wexham then finally transfered to St Bart's, london were he has now started Stem cell treatment. He has already suffered with nerve damage to his hands & feet and chemo has also impacted his hearing. He also has blood clots in both arms so on blood thinners for foreseeable future.

Once Craig's Cancer is under control, he will then be facing operations to remove whats left. The chest requires a operation similar to open heart surgury so the tumour has to be small as possible. We are not yet sure if he would also need surgury on the Liver.

When we get out the other side of that, Craig's desire is to attend several healing retreats to nuture his soul and body. Solid recovery will be paramount to him to enhance quality and length of life.

One in particualr is Joe Despenza's week long retreats that he does as various locations worldwide. This is on going work to heal long term.

These can cost from £500-£5000 depending if online or abroad. Then you have accomodation/food etc on top.

If Craig cant not fly due to blood clots then alternative travel may need to be considered and planned.

Its been a real rollercoaster as you can imagine and Craig has been so incredibly inspiring with his positive mindset and desire to get through this.

He fights for his beloved son Ashdon so he can see him grow up. As a partner ship now of 21 years...we also have many dreams to fore-fill!

One is to finally get married next year and we intend to have a weekend festival wedding in a Enchanted forest set up. I would love a team to collaborate with if anyone feels drawn to get involved with that!?

Craig is also determined to complete our boat home project which has sadly been on hold since the Covid knock on effects.

The biggest dream is to have land to hold retreats, events, workshops....a whole array of arts & crafts. A place for community to come and dive into their creativity and hearts!

He has found great strength in using meditation as a tool, eating very clean organic food and diving in to many alternative threapies all of which come at a cost of time and money.
