Craig's Feb challenge ❤mum❤
Hi I'm Craig
After today's visit to the Ronald McDonald house Manchester (20/01/22) it opened my eyes to how the money which gets raised gets spent. I learned how much this charity helps families when their kids are ill and in hospital and how they help in such difficult and worrying times.
Sadly last September I lost my mum who worked at McDonald's and she helped out with some of the charity work from her store. Today we had the honour to have a plaque outside one of the rooms in her name ( my DP on here ). This was due to many generous people donating to her page, which my sister made when she sadly passed away, so thank you to the people who contributed to that. Seeing this made me want to try and help raise some funds for this charity and do something that I know my mum would be looking down proud of me for.
So in February, I'm going to try and run 140km 90 miles in the month ( works out 5km a day or if I miss a day extra KMs ) and not touch one drink of alcohol in this time frame.I say try I AM GOING TO DO 90 MILES IN FEBRUARY. Never in a million years did I think I'd do something like this, but with mum looking down, I'm sure I'll smash it out of the park.
Thanks for reading, and whatever the donation, little or large, it will all help. x
