Craig's Cancer Cure Campaign

Hello! Our names are Brandon Balsar, Cayla Balsar, Drew Richardson, and Bob Burns Jr., children of the most amazing parents, Craig and Carol Balsar. On May 5, 2016, our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 supraglottic squamous cell carcinoma - or late stage cancer of the larynx. We were diligent and sought the best ENT doctor and oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as well as a renowned local oncologist, but they all agreed that, with or without the traditional treatments, Dad was looking at a life expectancy of only 6-15 months. Through all of this life-altering news, our family has never given up hope that Dad can beat his cancer.

Dad made the brave decision to forego chemotherapy, the only traditional therapy he was offered, in order to pursue the holistic/natural path of healing that has no doubt provided him a better quality of life these past few months. In the seven months since his diagnosis, we have extensively researched and have been in communications with a reputable clinic that supports the safe, effective, and nontoxic natural cancer treatment options; we believe wholeheartedly that the Hope 4 Cancer Institute is the answer to our efforts and prayers for a cure.

Unlike tradition cancer treatments, naturopath therapies are not covered by health insurance or supplemental insurance. Although we have decided on our ideal next step, we cannot afford to pay out of pocket for the holistic treatments without your help.

We know that Dad has one of the biggest networks of family and friends who appreciate his terrible jokes just as much as we do. Who love his strength and his big, soft heart.
