Craig Williams Memorial Bench - Jacksonville FL

Hi. My name is Ted and I'm fundraising for my dear friend and neighbor Craig Williams who passed away unexpectedly on May 18th due to a tragic accident. Craig was a valued member of my community and a long-time member of his local church.

A true southern gentleman, Craig treated everyone he knew with great kindness and respect. He was a superb orator who never met a stranger and was blessed with a bevy of wonderful friends from all walks of life whom he cherished. With them, he explored his hobbies of photography, birding, and writing. He was a member of Eagle Watch, The Audubon Society, The Nature Conservancy, and supported many rescue groups and animal shelters.

In honor of Craig's favorite pastime, bird-watching, we would like to place a permanent memorial bench in our neighborhood. The bench will be located directly across from Craig's house and oriented towards the marsh where Craig so often viewed the many birds that inhabit our local environs. The funds are needed to cover the purchase and installation of the bench and some minimal trimming of nearby foliage to open the view from the bench's proposed location.
