Hi, my name is Gavin Clarke, and I have set up this page on behalf of Craig’s family and my best friend, Craig Swift, who sadly passed away on Tuesday 5th May. Many of his friends have reached out asking if they could contribute towards giving Craig the send-off he deserves, so we thought this would be the best way to do so.

There are no words that can truly describe the numbness and heartbreak we are all feeling right now.

Everyone who knew Craig spoke about him with a smile on their face. He touched so many lives and created countless memories with the people around him. Craig lived a colourful life, always living it to the fullest. Tragically, following a recent operation after an accident at work, Craig passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Craig and I were best friends for nearly 35 years, but the truth is Craig had many best friends. He was such a lovable man, and people naturally gravitated towards him because of his love for life and his charismatic character.

Everyone who knew him will have their own special memories and stories, but those closest to him knew what mattered most in his world — his mother Kay, His father Kevin and his sisters Lisa and Lauren. His love for his family was unconditional.

The family will share funeral arrangements in due course, and we will keep everyone updated.

Craig, we all love you and are so thankful you were a part of our lives. Until we meet again, brother. Love always x
