Hello, this is Allen & Brandon Rubley, our father is Craig Rubley. All proceeds of this GoFundMe will go to our parents.

 

Our father has struggled with neurofibromatosis for several decades, and Parkinson disease for many years. Our mother, Wendy, Craig's wife, has many medical struggles, also including Parkinson disease. Our younger brother, Christopher, whom lives with our parents, struggles with neurofibromatosis and autism. Their household is a single income home, my father's income. Unfortunately my father has been in the hospital for over a month. First suffering from Covid, then once recovered, dealing with the aftermath of covid treatment. Due to his many pre existing issues, the treatment for covid and covid itself has decimated his overall health. Our father is currently battling pneumonia. His odds of surviving the pneumonia are currently 1%. If he beats the pneumonia his odds of surviving go to 50%, and his odds of ever returning home go to 20%.

 

This is an extremely difficult time for our family. In order to be with our mother, and spend what is likely our father's last days with him, we have put work to the side. Unfortunately this makes our ability to give funds ourselves much more difficult. We are doing and will continue to do what we can to help our parents. That said, this GoFundMe me will hopefully help in ways that we don't have the means to.

 

Presently, our mother doesn't have the means to pay for any bills, including rent, utilities, gas, food, medical, and unfortunately probably funeral expenses. We know there are programs, such as disability, that will likely be able to help our Mother, and youngest brother in the future, but these things take months or years to straighten out.
