Craig Parmley’s Medical Journey
Craig Parmley was hospitalized on October 13th due to a serious infection in his right lower leg. UPDATE: Craig has passed away on November 15th after a long battle. He was not strong enough to go through with an amputation and the infection had spread throughout his body. Over the past week his condition had rapidly declined. He has had a Charcot boot on his left foot for the past 10 years. It is his “good foot” that he was fighting for. During his time at the hospital he had suffered from kidney failure, pneumonia, and damage to other vital organs. Due to the severity of the infection he was incoherent and did not respond in conversation the last couple of days of his life.
We have received an overwhelming response of prayers and love from friends, family, and the community. At this time we are reaching out for financial help to make accommodations during this stressful time of medical crisis. All donations will be used to help pay for funeral expenses. Craig’s wife Marlena and twins Katie and Matthew Parmley thank you for your thoughts and support during this time.
