Thank you to all of you who have given so generously to Craig's medical rehab from a diabetes flareup caused by an aggressive staph infection. Craig is still recovering at a skilled nursing facility and he is making steady progress. We are still short of our goal and we'd like to exceed it if possible since it appears the healing process is slower than anticipated.
The photo below is a young and fun-loving Craig many years ago. We'd like to get him back to better health. He nearly died from this infection and feels like he's been given a second chance. He says he's learned a lot. For example, do not wait too long before seeing a doctor when there is pain. Your body knows best.

Type 2 Diabetes damages essential systems in your body such as blood vessels and nerves, The consequences of uncontrolled diabetes can be very serious, and some can eventually be fatal. Be careful and take care.
