Everyone knows Craig.
Laid-back, caring, hardworking, and usually sweating from running into the game.
Last Wednesday, with intense pain, Craig went to the clinic to visit the doctor. With as much pain as he was in, they rerouted him to North Memorial Hospital.
It turns out he was having a "Widow Maker Heart Attack".
Luckily for him, staff was able to rush to his aid. He endured what he remembers as 12 hours of 10 of 10 pain until they were able to prep him for surgery and add three stints to his system.
Now Craig is recovering. Evading death was the first goal. The hospital staff saw to that. Our lovable Craig will hopefully be with us for the next 20+ years (he just turned 63). Next is going to be the financial recovery.
Craig needs a little bit of our help. Soon the hospital bills will be coming in. Craig will have work restrictions, and his heart needs time to recover from its recent trauma. He is on medication for his body to accept the three new stints added to his arteries and will have a lifting limit for an unforeseeable future.
We all know Craig; if we were in need, he would be there for us. But now he needs us to help.

Update 9/29/2022
Craig is was transferred to Abbott Northwestern. He is in quarantine until 10/2/22 due to contracting COVID. His upper portion of his heart is not working and may never work. He had a heart pump installed to assist his upper portion of his heart pump so that his lower heart is not over worked. He has been on a ventilator the past few days and hasn't been able to talk on the phone. There has been discussion on getting him on the heart transplant list. Craig is a fighter, and will continue to fight.
