Some of you already know, but for those who don’t — our beloved friend, father, and grandfather, Craig, was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. This diagnosis has changed everything.

Back in April, Craig lost his main source of income due to the worsening symptoms of his illness. He was no longer able to continue working full-time. Even then, he did his best to stay active, picking up part-time work at two of his favorite spots in town — until his health declined so severely that he couldn’t even manage that.

His weight dropped from 180 lbs to just 127 by mid-August. Thankfully, he made it to NHRMC just in time for emergency surgery that ultimately saved his life.

Now, Craig is facing a long road to recovery. But with no income, mounting medical bills, and the mortgage at risk, the financial stress is overwhelming.
