In Memory of Craig Green – Help Us Lay Him to Rest

My name is Shelley, and I’ve set up this page on behalf of Lesley, Craig’s life-long partner, and their children. We are heartbroken by the sudden loss of Craig Green, a kind and devoted father, partner, and friend.

Craig, aged just 39, worked as part of the catering team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. He was a hardworking, gentle soul who gave his all to his family and his work.

On Wednesday 23rd July, Craig tragically suffered a catastrophic brain bleed. The most painful part of this story is that this issue had actually been identified during a scan back in April—but Craig was never informed. No action was taken, no follow-up made. Days later, on Friday 25th July, Craig's life support was turned off.

This GoFundMe has been created to help raise funds for Craig’s funeral—so his children have a peaceful resting place to visit their dad. No family should have to face this kind of loss, especially when it could have been prevented.
